Davey Microlene KAS10J — Whole House Water Filter for Rainwater and Tank Water

The Davey Microlene KAS10J is a 2-stage whole-house filter kit designed for rainwater and tank water supplies. The first stage removes coarse sediment, dirt, rust, and leaf matter. The second removes fine particles and parasitic cysts — so the water reaching your taps, appliances, and UV system is clear and well prepared.
The kit uses 10" Jumbo housings. A compact fit for tighter installation spaces such as a pump shed, small laundry, or bach. The recommended max flow rate is 35 LPM, limited by the 1 micron polyspun cartridge. For most households on tank water, this is adequate. If your property has higher flow demands or you want longer intervals between cartridge changes, the 20" Jumbo version (KAS20J) is the better fit.
Connection fittings are not included. The housings use 25mm (1") FBSP connections — standard NZ plumbing size.
How It Works
Stage 1 — 20 Micron Poly Pleated Cartridge
Removes larger sediment, dirt, rust, and leaf matter from rainwater and tank supplies. Recommended cleaning every 3–6 months and replacing every 12 months.
Stage 2 — 1 Micron Poly Spun Cartridge
Removes fine particle sediment and parasitic cysts. Recommended replacing every 6–12 months.
